Why you won't see their faces...
Holly and Tyler deserve to have normal lives. They deserve not to be recognized. They deserve to be fussed
over by strangers at the store simply because they are extraordinary, precious children and not stared at or
ignored because people are wondering "Is that them?".
Too many pictures were circulated of them during the time surrounding the kidnapping. Fortunately, every
one who approached the Needham Family in public after their return had messages of love and support.
But their public experience was temporarily different and unsettling. They have now grown and changed
enough that they aren't easily recognizable from those early pictures. The adults in their lives, however,
continue to look mostly the same (despite some wear). This year, their lives have finally returned to normal
and we ask that everyone please help us keep it that way.
