Friends of the Needham Family
We have quietly, but strongly, stood by and supported the Needham family for the past few
years, since they adopted Holly and Tyler. The past 12 months being a time our support
has been needed the most. As friends of the Needhams, we decided it was time for our
opinions and observations to be heard.
As you all know, last December, Allison Quets picked up the Needhams' twins, Holly and
Tyler, for a court ordered visitation. Allison was to have returned the twins on Christmas
Eve. Allison never showed, while the Needhams ticked away the minutes, hoping she was
just late, until it was too late to hope any more. They alerted the authorities. By this time,
Allison was already in Canada with Holly and Tyler…she had kidnapped the Needham’s
children.
Law enforcement used every available resource to locate Holly and Tyler and had done so
within a few days. Denise and Kevin flew up to Canada to bring their children home to
celebrate a long overdue Christmas. No one can imagine the fear this family felt unless
you were there. We friends know, we were there, it was gut wrenching to see this family in
such pain.
Kevin and Denise have remained as private about the adoption as was prudent and want
to protect their children from all of the ugliness as much as possible. Isn’t that what
parents do? They protect their children, keep them healthy and happy, teach them right
from wrong, give them a strong sense of self. Denise and Kevin do this every single day
with all three of their children. They indeed put their children’s needs ahead of their own.
This site will provide thought provoking information. You will find yourself asking many
questions about the truth surrounding the news. The Needhams' hands have been tied to
correct the misinformation. We hope to begin to right this wrong.
